Job summary

The City of Edinburgh Council is seeking a Casual Facilities Assistant based at Wester Hailes Healthy Living Centre. You will deliver janitorial services across our estate, performing basic maintenance, security checks and responsive cleaning to keep properties safe for staff and learners.

This casual role offers flexible shifts, above-market rates and opportunities to progress within a trusted employer. Successful candidates join PVG scheme requirements and receive training and development as

Qualifications

• PVG scheme required for regulated work with children and/or protected adults
• Flexibility to pick up shifts as required

Responsibilities

• Day to day FM, janitorial and DIY operations across one or more buildings
• Basic repairs and general maintenance
• Reactive cleaning and security functions
• Support moves and grounds maintenance
