Choice Care Group is seeking a dedicated Support Worker in the East Midlands, with shifts including weekends on a rota basis. The role offers training at no cost and a clear career path from day one to help you develop into a skilled professional.

Prior to joining, you must pursue or already hold a Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care. You will work in a supportive team, maintaining records and assisting with personal care while engaging residents in activities and outings.

Qualifications

• All Support Workers at this service must already have or commit to undertaking a Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care qualification.
• Being patient, reliable, flexible, a team player and a good communicator are key characteristics of a successful Support Worker.

Responsibilities

• Assisting those we care for with their personal care needs
• Medication administration
• Assisting and getting involved in daily activities, hobbies or outings
• Following care plan guidance alongside Company policies and procedures
• Developing an open, honest, and considerate working relationship with those we care for
• Maintaining written and electronic daily records
• Attending and completing training, as required
