Job summary

St Martins Care Ltd is seeking a Bank Domestic Assistant to support a busy care home in Darlington with flexible hours. The role focuses on delivering high-quality cleaning services across the premises, while following regulatory requirements and ensuring the welfare of residents is protected.

You will be part of a values-driven team, required to follow policy, attend training, and work collaboratively with staff, residents, and families.

Qualifications

• Good English (written and verbal).
• Communication skills to build rapport with residents, communicate effectively with them and colleagues.
• Problem-solving skills to adapt to and address situations quickly, develop solutions, and recognise/report situations requiring protection.

Responsibilities

• Provide cleaning services within the organisation to a high standard.
• Implement action to meet and maintain cleaning standards.
• Evaluate standards of cleaning.
• Follow legislative requirements and relative regulations.
• Be responsible for promoting and protecting the welfare of those individuals supported by the service.
