Job summary

St Martins Care in the North East of England is seeking a Domestic Assistant to support a busy care home. You will provide cleaning services within the organisation to a high standard, following legislative requirements and relative regulations.

The role may include additional duties as reasonably requested. The service’s premises are the primary location, with potential work at other locations as directed by the company.

Qualifications

• Good English (written and verbal).
• Communication skills to build rapport with residents, communicate effectively with them, and colleagues.
• Problem-solving skills to adapt to and address situations quickly, develop solutions, and recognise/report situations requiring protection.

Responsibilities

• Provide cleaning services within the organisation to a high standard.
• Implement action to meet and maintain cleaning standards.
• Evaluate standards of cleaning.
• Follow legislative requirements and relative regulations.
• Be responsible for promoting and protecting the welfare of those individuals supported by the service.
