Job summary

Quality Service Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced health care assistant for a residential home in Aslockton, Nottingham. You will work full- or part-time hours, following individual care plans and supporting residents’ mobility, nutrition, and wellbeing.

You’ll engage with residents warmly, help with daily tasks, and uphold safety standards. A DBS check within 12 months and current mandatory training are required or funded by the facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months experience in a care home or nursing home.
• DBS check dated within the last 12 months or facility to pay for one.
• Mandatory training up-to-date; certificates preferred or facility to pay for these.

Responsibilities

• Follow personalised care plans for residents.
• Assist mobility and nutritional needs.
• Support residents' emotional and psychological wellbeing.
• Engage with residents to provide a friendly, familiar face.
• Carry out light domestic tasks and adhere to health and safety guidelines.
• Promote the welfare of adults in care.
