Job summary

Reed in Partnership is seeking a Business Manager based in Cambridge with travel across Cambridge and Peterborough. You will lead and motivate a team of up to 8 Careers Coaches, manage stakeholder relationships, and drive performance.

The role offers a base salary of £35,500 to £43,000, pro-rata for part-time, plus Reed benefits such as 25 days leave, a pension scheme, leadership training and development funds.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a team and delivering against targets.
• Evidence of mentoring, coaching and developing staff.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel across the Herts & Essex region.

Responsibilities

• Stakeholder engagement with DPW, JCP and Employers.
• Performance management, mentoring and coaching staff.
• Management of a small caseload of participants.
• Act as a part fee earner against agreed targets.
• Identify skills gaps and coordinate training needs.
• Conduct regular reviews and performance development processes.
• Monitor KPIs and use MI tools to track performance.
• Handle customer complaints and escalate when needed.
