Job summary

The Housing Network in Aylesbury is seeking compassionate Bank Support Workers to assist residents with complex needs. The role offers flexible 8-hour bank shifts and focuses on trauma-informed, person-centred support to help individuals regain independence and stability.

You will build trusting relationships, deliver 1:1 sessions, and support with tenancy matters and access to specialist services, while prioritising safeguarding and wellbeing within the community.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting vulnerable adults or families with complex needs.
• Ability to build trusting relationships and create outcome-focused support plans.
• Willingness to work flexible bank shifts and adapt to variable hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed, person-centred support to residents with complex needs.
• Deliver 1:1 support sessions and signpost to specialist services.
• Assist residents with tenancy matters, benefits and independent living skills.
• Manage a caseload to ensure appropriate support levels and safeguarding.
