Job summary

ACJ Talent Partners Ltd trading as Respond Recruit is seeking compassionate Support Workers for flexible bank shifts in Wales. Earn £14.24 per hour with day, night and weekend shifts available to fit your schedule.

You'll support residents with personal care, promote independence and wellbeing, and work with a multidisciplinary team including nurses and therapists. Enhanced DBS, moving & handling, health & safety, safeguarding training are essential.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service.
• Moving & Handling training certificate.
• Health & Safety training certificate.
• Safeguarding training certificate.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, professional and reliable approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexibility to work day, night or weekend shifts according to availability.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with personal care and daily living activities.
• Supporting independence, dignity and individual care goals.
• Assisting with therapy and rehabilitation programmes.
• Promoting emotional wellbeing and social engagement.
• Building positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues.
• Maintaining a safe, comfortable and supportive environment.
• Working collaboratively with Nurses, Therapists and the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Following care plans, safeguarding procedures and health and safety guidelines.
