Job summary

Advinia is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our care homes in the Falkirk area. You will work closely with home managers to deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care for older residents, ensuring safety and wellbeing in a supportive team environment.

The role requires active NMC registration and a minimum of one year of nursing practice. You will lead and mentor care staff, maintain comprehensive care plans, and collaborate with GPs and external health professionals.

Qualifications

• Valid NMC nursing registration with at least 1 year of nursing practice.
• Experience in care homes and resident-centered care preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, person-centred nursing care to residents.
• Take wound care and administer medicines per policy.
• Maintain and review individualised care plans with the team.
• Lead and support the care team with regular supervision.
• Record-keeping and handover reports at shift end.
• liaise with GPs and other health professionals as needed.
