Job summary

Randox Laboratories seeks Bank Phlebotomists for Brighton, offering flexible shifts on an as-needed basis. The role involves taking blood samples from private and corporate clients, data entry into PIS, and providing a high standard of patient care. Candidates must have phlebotomy training, IT skills, and the right to work in the UK.

Shifts are variable, with long hours possible and weekends included. DBS checks and Hepatitis B vaccination requirements apply during the selection process.

Qualifications

• Previous phlebotomy experience and certificate or equivalent training.
• Confident using IT programmes.
• Flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Strong communication skills.
• Right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.
• Valid UK or Irish driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct blood and urine sample collection, and data entry into PIS.
• Demonstrate sensitive communication to ensure client understanding and consent.
• Maintain accurate records in PIS and upload documentation.
• Engage in upselling and cross-selling at our private health clinic.
• Proactively drive sales and exceed targets.
• Help with reception, front of house and other administrative duties.
• Complete company forms, specimen labelling, and laboratory test order forms accurately.
• Demonstrate high IT literacy to manage various software systems.
