Job summary

InHealth Group is recruiting a Bank Mammographer to join the Breast Screening team based at the Jarvis Centre in Guildford, Surrey. You will provide high-quality imaging and screen women for breast cancer as part of the National Breast Screening Programme, working across the Jarvis Centre and five mobile screening units.

This flexible role offers ad-hoc shifts at both the main site and mobile units, with opportunities to contribute to assessment clinics and mentor Assistant Practitioners while

Qualifications

• Must have BSc in Radiography and HCPC registration.
• Must have PG Cert in Mammography.
• Candidates should demonstrate strong communication, teamwork and commitment to ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out high-quality mammograms to help detect breast cancer early.
• Supporting patients with compassion, reassurance and professionalism.
• Assisting in assessment clinics, including stereotactic biopsies.
• Mentoring Assistant Practitioners to help them grow in their careers.
• Participating in the Quality Assurance Programme and keeping up-to-date with best practice.
• Joining the rota to cover Jarvis Centre and mobile screening sites.
