Job summary

East Cheshire NHS Trust in Macclesfield is seeking a qualified Mammographer to join the Cheshire and Stockport Breast Screening Programme on a Bank basis. You will provide high quality mammography within NHSBSP standards, work across Macclesfield and mobile units, and travel as required.

The role requires HCPC registration and completion of certificate of competence in mammography; visa sponsorship is not offered for non-UK residents.

Qualifications

• Valid HCPC registration and royal college/accreditation where applicable.
• Certificate of Competence in mammography or higher.
• CPD activity evidence.
• Knowledge of IR(ME) and IRR regulations.
• DCR or BSc Radiography degree or equivalent.
• Oncology knowledge relevant to breast clinics.
• Participation in quality assurance and study days.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high-quality mammography service within NHSBSP and symptomatic service.
• Travel to required sites as part of the role.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team in breast screening.
• Meet the criteria for DBS checks and visa status as applicable.
