Job summary

Cygnet Long Eaton Day Services are seeking a Bank Driver to operate a 7 seater mini bus on a casual/flexible basis. Shifts cover the morning and/or evening across a 7 day rota.

Applicants must be 21+ and hold a full UK driving licence for at least 2 years, with duties including vehicle checks, refuelling and maintaining cleanliness. Benefits include flexible hours with overtime opportunities, coaching and regular appraisal, and ongoing supervision and peer support.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK driving D1 Licence with no more than 3 points.
• Knowledge of the local area.
• Able to navigate around an area using Sat Nav or maps.
• Able to plan and keep to a schedule.
• Willing to work unsupervised.
• Good customer service skills.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Excellent organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive our 7 seater mini bus on a casual/flexible basis.
• Cover shifts on an ad-hoc basis across a 3 hour morning and/or 3 hour evening rota.
• Ensure vehicle is refuelled, checked before and after trips, kept clean and report faults/damage.
