Job summary

Cygnet’s Woodrowe House near Leicester seeks a compassionate Bank Care Rehabilitation Assistant to support residents in recovery and daily activities within care home or home care settings.

Bank staff are wanted on an ad-hoc basis, following care plans, ensuring confidentiality, and maintaining a safe, supportive environment. Training and DBS checks are required, with supervision and flexible overtime available.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with personal activities such as washing, bathing, dressing, and toileting as per care plans.
• Encourage participation in activities aligning with residents' wishes.
• Maintain a tidy, clean environment and assist with meals and hydration.
• Assist with confidentiality and data protection in all aspects of home life.
• Contribute to training events and adhere to home policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively within the team and raise concerns to senior staff.
