Job summary

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland is seeking compassionate Bank Support Practitioners to help individuals in their own homes across Scotland. No care experience is required, as comprehensive training and a fully funded SVQ are provided.

As a Bank Support Practitioner, you will support with daily living activities, personal care, and medication while helping clients engage in activities they enjoy. Flexible hours and ongoing training are offered.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Confident using computers.
• Able to work well in a team and independently.
• Good organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals living in their own homes with daily living tasks and personal care.
• Support with medications and budgeting/finances as needed.
• Carry out housework, meal preparation and cooking tasks.
• Engage service users in hobbies and activities of interest.
• Adapt to varying shift patterns and maintain a respectful, person-centred approach.
