Job summary

Meallmore is seeking Bank Care Assistants in Cruden Bay, Ellon and Kemnay to fit around study, family commitments and personal plans. These bank roles offer 'as and when required' hours with opportunities to support residents across our care homes in Cruden Bay, Ellon and Kemnay, and further afield in Crimond and Fraserburgh.

You will assist with daily living, provide companionship and help residents enjoy meaningful activities, with shifts based on care home needs.

Qualifications

• Naturally caring and kind disposition.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Patience and empathy in challenging situations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• SVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with personal care, mealtimes and daily living.
• Promote residents' independence and well-being.
• Monitor health needs and liaise with families and colleagues.
• Help residents enjoy meaningful physical and social activities.
