Oakley Health Group is recruiting a Permanent Band 6 Practice Nurse to join its nursing team serving around 29,000 patients. The role covers treatment-room nursing, immunisations, cervical screening, wound care and long-term condition management, with PGDs/PSDs in place. Hours are up to 37.5 per week, including one evening until 8pm and Saturday rota.

NMC PIN and DBS are required. Applicants should have post-registration experience, autonomous practice, and be able to work within a

• Current NMC registration and valid PIN.
• Evidence of continuing professional development and maintained clinical competence.

Responsabilidades

• Provide safe, effective nursing care to patients at the practice.
• Deliver adult and childhood immunisations under current guidance.
• Carry out cervical screening and cytology within competence.
• Perform wound assessment, dressings and routine treatment-room procedures.
• Undertake clinical observations and basic clinical assessment.
• Recognise deterioration and escalate to GP or other clinician.
• Support management of long-term conditions with competence.
• Provide health promotion and preventive care.
• Maintain safe medicines management and cold-chain procedures.
• Keep accurate clinical records and use IT systems effectively.
• Work with GPs, Advanced Practitioners and wider team.
