Job summary

The Trust is inviting applications for flexible Bank Staff positions at our Sheffield site. Bank staff can work up to 48 hours a week or as few hours as they want, ideal for returning to work gradually or gaining experience while fitting around other commitments.

You will have access to training to keep skills up to date, and you can vary your hours to meet service needs. Roles include working across services and maintaining professional standards and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• To take charge, as required, in the role of shift manager.
• To work flexibly to meet service requirements.
• To work within the professional codes and conduct and Trust/Directorates Policies and Procedures.
• To be personally responsible for maintaining professional registration with the NMC.
• To contribute to the maintenance of a safe environment in accordance with Health & Safety legislation.
• To carry out procedures in accordance with the care programme approach (if applicable) and the specialist element of SAP.
• To ensure that during any period of a shift, when in charge of medicines, the custody of all drugs is in accordance with the Trust policy and procedures
