Job summary

Reeson Education is recruiting an After School Club Assistant for flexible work across schools in Hertfordshire. The role is on a flexible, zero-hours basis with availability you set, and pays £14.25–£16.65 per hour for the 3pm–6pm window.

You will supervise children in primary schools and after-school clubs, help organise activities and ensure a safe, welcoming environment, travelling between schools for suitable bookings.

Qualifications

• Experience in childcare, youth work or similar transferable experience.
• Friendly, reliable and confident supervising groups of children.
• Good communication and safeguarding awareness.
• Willing to travel to different schools for bookings.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children safely during the after-school period.
• Organise games, creative activities and age-appropriate play.
• Support children with positive social interaction and participation.
• Maintain a welcoming, organised and safe club environment.
• Assist with snack times and club routines as required.
• Follow each school's safeguarding, behaviour and collection procedures.
• Help set up activities and clear away at the end of the session.
