Job summary

Welham Autism Centre seeks an experienced ADOS-trained Speech and Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team on a flexible self-employed basis. The role involves delivering ADOS assessments for children and young people and producing thoughtful documentation.

You will work with psychologists and other clinicians, contributing to practical, individualized recommendations to families. The work is primarily on-site in South Manchester, with some remote MDT work where appropriate.

Qualifications

• HCPC-registered SLT with ADOS-2 training and autism assessment experience.
• Proven ability to contribute to multidisciplinary diagnostic work.
• Produces high-quality, timely clinical notes and reports.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ADOS assessments for children and young people.
• Prepare clear clinical notes and assessment contributions.
• Participate in MDT diagnostic discussions and make practical recommendations.
