Job summary

Service Care Solutions Ltd is recruiting a Speech & Language Therapist (Neurodevelopmental) for NHS/private pathways across the UK. The role is permanent, hybrid with on-site clinics at EX1 3QS Exeter.

You will conduct neurodevelopmental assessments, deliver feedback and produce diagnostic reports using smart tools; requires HCPC registration and ASD/ADHD experience, with travel to clinics as needed.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered SLT (SLT) with valid registration in the UK.
• 1+ year experience conducting autism/ADHD assessments in CYP.
• Knowledge of differential diagnosis in neurodevelopmental presentations.
• Familiarity with DSM-5 criteria for autism/ADHD.
• Experience using ADOS-2 or ADI-R in assessments.
• Eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face structured observations as part of neurodevelopmental assessments.
• Complete remote developmental history interviews with parents/caregivers via Zoom.
• Participate in MDT diagnostic discussions with senior support.
• Deliver clear, compassionate feedback to families.
• Produce accurate, high-quality diagnostic reports using digital tools.
• Meet service KPIs through caseload management.
• Provide clinical supervision where applicable.
• Travel to clinic bases for in-person assessments (hybrid role).

This innovative service delivers high-quality, evidence-based neurodevelopmental assessments for children, young people and adults through both NHS-funded and private pathways. Through Service Care Solutions, you’ll join a passionate multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering timely, accurate diagnoses and improving long-term outcomes for families. Requirements

• Minimum 1 year’s professional registration with HCPC – Speech and Language Therapist
• At least 1 year’s experience conducting autism and/or ADHD diagnostic assessments in CYP
• Strong understanding of differential diagnosis in neurodevelopmental presentations
• In-depth knowledge of DSM-5 criteria for autism and ADHD
• Experience using tools such as ADOS-2, ADI-R or equivalent
• Eligibility to work in the UK
