Job summary

Coastal Learning Partnership's Old Town Infant School & Nursery and Oakdale Junior School are seeking a Minibus Driver to transport pupils between sites before and after school, with supervision by an additional adult.

The role is term-time only (38 weeks per year), 10 hours per week (8-9am and 3-4pm, Monday to Friday). Applicants must have a clean licence with Category D and be willing to undertake the school’s minibus training; DBS checks will be completed.

Qualifications

• A positive character who will enjoy working with children.
• A competent, safe driver with a clean licence.
• Category D on the licence (pre-1997 qualification).
• Willingness to engage with minibus driver awareness training (2-hour session).
• Qualified first aider or willingness to be trained.

Responsibilities

• Transport pupils before and after school between the two sites.
• Provide supervision with another adult on journeys.
• Support safe, courteous travel for children.
