Job summary

Siemens Mobility Limited is recruiting a Fleet Supply Chain and Warranty Engineer to join our Rolling Stock team in London or Goole. You will lead investigations, manage suppliers, and drive warranty activities to improve fleet reliability and reduce costs.

You will work with engineering and customers to resolve technical issues, implement preventative actions, and support changes in fleet engineering. A mechanical or electrical background and railway knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering (HNC/HND, BTEC or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of railway systems and maintenance practices.
• Experience with fault finding and root cause analysis.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical investigations and supplier reviews to identify root causes.
• Manage supplier performance, ensuring quality concerns are addressed.
• Drive warranty management activities including cost tracking and reporting.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, customers and suppliers to resolve issues.
• Support fleet engineering change and obsolescence management.
• Commission and manage third-party engineering support, define scopes.
