Job summary

Siemens Mobility Rolling Stock is recruiting a Fleet Supply Chain and Warranty Engineer to be based at London or Goole. You will support the component warranty management process, attend engineering investigations with suppliers, and provide technical statements to enforce warranty claims.

You will also work with suppliers to identify root causes, implement preventative actions and improve component reliability across the fleet.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or railway environment.
• Knowledge of railway systems and maintenance practices.
• Experience in fault finding and root cause analysis to diagnose issues.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities, delivering against goals.
• Strong communication and IT skills with clear documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical investigations and supplier reviews to identify root causes of failures and support warranty claims.
• Manage supplier performance and ensure quality concerns and actions are addressed to reduce failures and costs.
• Drive warranty management activities including dispute resolution, cost tracking, and trend analysis.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, customers and suppliers to resolve issues and share best practices.
