Job summary

Farmfoods seeks a VMU Supervisor for its brand new distribution centre in Daventry, Northamptonshire. You will work a standard 40-hour week, Monday to Friday with some weekend flexibility, earning a salary of £58,783 per year.

Initial training is in Monkspath, Solihull, with start dates in November. The role includes a day shift from 08:00 to 16:30 and benefits such as 30 days holiday, subsidised on-site canteen, and free parking. A company van and work phone are provided.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on role with the VMU team
• Physically inspect and repair vehicles
• Maintain MOT pass rate and safety inspections
• Input hours to timesheet app and manage rotas
• Manage annual leave and absence handling
• Support breakdowns via contractors and stock/parts management
• Coordinate with fleet manager on processes and reporting
• Be flexible to team and business needs
