Job summary

Perfect Placement is seeking a qualified Commercial Vehicle Technician to join our reputable team in Kirkby-in-Ashfield. You will service, maintain and diagnose faults across a fleet of commercial vehicles, helping to keep operations running smoothly.

This full-time, permanent role offers a weekday schedule (Mon-Fri, 7:30am-5:00pm) with a competitive salary (£35,000-£45,000 depending on experience). You will work on a variety of commercial vehicles, with opportunities in vehicle sales

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Commercial Vehicle Technician or similar role.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Able to work independently and manage workload effectively.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and diagnose faults on a commercial vehicle rental fleet.
• Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance to high standards.
• Prepare commercial vehicles for sale.
• Assist with vehicle conversions and WAV installations.
• Manage fleet servicing schedules and maintain records.
• Identify additional repairs or work needed and ensure roadworthy safety.
• Minimise downtime and maintain high vehicle availability.
