Job summary

Force Dyfed Powys Police in Carmarthen is seeking a Fleet Technician to service, repair, diagnose and commission fleet vehicles, supporting operational policing and departmental requirements.

You will apply practical maintenance procedures, use specialist diagnostic tools, and implement fleet safety regulations while keeping up-to-date with technical knowledge through CPD. The role includes installation and maintenance of emergency lighting and communications systems.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing and repairing fleet vehicles to MOT standards.
• Ability to install and maintain specialist police vehicle systems such as emergency lighting and communications.
• Commitment to maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge through ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, diagnose and commission fleet vehicles to support operational policing.
