2Excel Aviation Ltd in Lasham, Hampshire, invites applications for a Fleet Support Officer on a permanent basis. The role suits someone with an interest in continuing airworthiness and fleet management, eager to develop a career in aviation.

You will work at Lasham site, collaborating with MRO, Logistics and spares providers to plan maintenance, manage spares, and ensure documentation is up to date.

Qualifications

• Keen and proactive approach with willingness to learn.
• Strong IT skills, especially MS 365.
• Interest in aviation and/or maintenance/engineering.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise via phone/Teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist Fleet Support Engineer with long-term maintenance planning and identification of spares and mod kit requirements.
• Liaise with spares providers ensuring timely provision of spares and modification kits prior to base maintenance inputs.
• Support FSE with management and tracking of spares provision, component repairs and stock holding for fleet.
• Coordination between MRO, Logistics and Spares Providers during input to facilitate the planned check schedule.
• Review maintenance and aircraft documentation during input and prior to release to service.
• Support answering technical queries from MRO and raise customer requests as required.
• Support collation of documentation for safety investigations and/or compliance findings.
• Create and update maintenance statements.
• Carry out aircraft documents checks, including the update of onboard documentation.
• Support review/allocation/approval of aircraft and component maintenance invoices.

About The Role

We are seeking a Fleet Support Officer to join us at our site in Lasham on a permanent basis. This role would suit someone who has a keen interest in aviation and wants to develop a strong career in continuing airworthiness/fleet management. Whether you are new to aviation or looking to continue to develop within aviation, we would love to hear from you.

The role’s key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Assist Fleet Support Engineer (FSE) with long term maintenance planning and identification of spares and mod kit requirements.
• Liaise with spares providers ensuring timely provision of spares and modification kits prior to base maintenance inputs.
• Support FSE with management and tracking of spares provision, component repairs and stock holding for fleet.
• Co-ordination and liaison between the MRO, Logistics and Spares Providers during the input to facilitate the planned check schedule.

Successful applicants will have the following skills, knowledge and experience:

• Comfortable locating people in facility to find out information/resolve queries
