Job summary

2Excel Aviation Ltd is seeking a Fleet Support Officer for our Doncaster site on a permanent basis. The role offers a hands-on start in aviation maintenance planning and fleet management, with scope to develop expertise in spares, documentation and supplier coordination.

Successful applicants will be keen to learn, proactive, and comfortable using MS 365. Strong communication skills on phone and Teams are essential to liaise across MRO, logistics and suppliers.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist Fleet Support Engineer with maintenance planning and spares identification.
• Coordinate with spares providers for timely procurement of parts and mod kits.
• Support management of spares, repairs and stock for the fleet.
• Coordinate with MRO, Logistics and spares providers during input for planned checks.
• Review maintenance documentation before release to service.
• Assist with technical queries from MRO and raise customer requests.

Fleet Support Officer

About the role:

We are seeking a Fleet Support Officer to join us at our site in Doncaster on a permanent basis. This role would suit someone who has a keen interest in aviation and wants to develop a strong career in continuing airworthiness/fleet management. Whether you are new to aviation or looking to continue to develop within aviation, we would love to hear from you.

The role's key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Assist Fleet Support Engineer (FSE) with long term maintenance planning and identification of spares and mod kit requirements.
• Liaise with spares providers ensuring timely provision of spares and modification kits prior to base maintenance inputs.
• Support FSE with management and tracking of spares provision, component repairs and stock holding for fleet.
• Co-ordination and liaison between the MRO, Logistics and Spares Providers during the input to facilitate the planned check schedule.
• Review of maintenance and aircraft documentation during input and prior to release to service.
• Support answering any technical queries from MRO.
• Raise customer requests as required.
• Support collation of documentation for safety investigations and/or compliance findings.
• Create and update maintenance statements.
• Carry out aircraft documents checks, including the update of onboard documentation.
• Support review/allocation/approval of aircraft and component maintenance invoices.

• Comfortable locating people in facility to find out information/resolve queries
