Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL seeks an experienced Fleet Manager to oversee a 550+ vehicle fleet from its Head Office in Bognor Regis. You will ensure DVSA compliance, manage servicing and MOTs, and optimise vehicle availability while leading liaison with leasing and maintenance providers.

Qualifications

• Must have a CPC licence and strong knowledge of DVSA regulations and road transport legislation.
• Experience managing a large varied fleet (cars and HGVs).
• Strong ability to coordinate with internal teams, suppliers and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operation and compliance of a fleet of 550+ vehicles.
• Ensure vehicles are maintained in line with DVSA, fleet and safety regulations.
• Oversee servicing, maintenance, inspections and MOTs to keep fleet safe and legal.
• Manage allocation and availability of courtesy vehicles.
• Monitor performance, utilisation, maintenance trends and costs.
• Introduce KPIs to improve fleet performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Operational, Claims, Regional and Site teams.
• Ensure vehicle availability supports repair capacity and customer needs.
• Build relationships with leasing companies and maintenance providers.
• Oversee supplier performance and value for money.
