Job summary

Nationwide Platforms is seeking a highly organised Transport & Fleet Coordinator to support the nationwide fleet of LGVs, vans and company cars. You will manage fleet administration, ensure legal compliance and help drive cost-effective operations in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the Transport and Compliance Manager, you will coordinate vehicle records, driver checks and maintenance tasks while providing reliable support to regional transport managers and customers across the UK.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; able to maintain data and reporting.
• Experience in a fleet environment preferred.
• Strong communication skills across all levels.
• Ability to multitask, prioritise workload and problem-solve.

Responsibilities

• Administer fleet database for company cars, vans and LGVs to ensure legal compliance and best-practice.
• Validate invoices from third-party suppliers and monitor authorised spend.
• Process penalty charge notices from start to finish to minimise costs.
• Maintain vehicle records including location, ownership and status.
• Collect and monitor P11D details for HMRC.
• Support regional transport managers with maintenance scheduling to ensure availability.
• Coordinate and administer driver license checks.
• Handle short-term hire car bookings with the approved supplier.
• Assist with new vehicle ordering and sign-off procedures.
• Manage fuel card administration (issue, cancel, renew).
• Gather legal paperwork for trucks/trailers post-inspection/MOTs.
• Track driver training (DCPC, IPAF and related systems).
