Job summary

Falkirk Council is seeking a skilled Fleet Mechanic to join our Fleet Services team. You will be responsible for maintaining and diagnosing vehicles, with opportunities to train on HGVs and our EV fleet. The role requires safe, independent work and a commitment to high-quality customer service.

We value teamwork, attention to detail and strong communication as part of a busy workshop environment. Mon-Thu 8am-4pm, Fri 8am-3:30pm, with benefits offered.

• Qualified motor mechanic with proven diagnostic abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a safe, competent manner.

To succeed in this role, you should be a qualified motor mechanic and have excellent diagnostic skills. You should also have the ability to work independently both safely and competently and have a passion for providing exceptional customer service
