Job summary

Veolia Environmental Services (Uk) Plc is seeking a capable supervisor in Westminster, London, to support daily vehicle and asset checks, manage staff tasks, and ensure proper documentation. The role requires leadership and experience in transport management, with weekend duties and full-time hours (40 per week).

Qualifications

• Supervisory/management experience required.
• Experience in transport management or similar.
• Good IT knowledge/skills.
• Driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Service Delivery Manager to ensure daily vehicle/asset checks at start and during each shift, with correct forms/e-documents.
• Distribute worksheets, round/beat sheets and maps; ensure staff understand tasks and amendments.
• Ensure staff have proper tools and equipment in serviceable condition.
• Investigate any accidents involving staff, vehicles or equipment and present documentation to your Manager.
• Undertake daily contract monitoring surveys and assist with related reports.
• Oversee weekly cleansing of vehicles and plant items per schedule and ensure records are updated.
• Ensure daily work is signed off and all routes/maps/worksheets/log sheets are returned and signed.
• Provide cover for the Manager when needed.
• Commitment to fair treatment and an inclusive workplace.
