Job summary

Nestlé UK&I is seeking a Talent Driver Manager to lead a dedicated fleet in York. You will oversee daily driver activities, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and drive performance across shifts while supporting Nestlé Transport operations.

The role focuses on leadership, labour planning, and continuous improvement within a FMCG transport environment, with a competitive benefits package and a 6-month fixed-term contract.

Qualifications

• Background in Transport/Logistics within FMCG.
• Ambassador for Nestlé with inclusive culture.
• Strong knowledge of transport management legislation.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities of the dedicated fleet Transport Operation in York, ensuring policy and regulatory compliance.
• Manage drivers, monitor performance, and promote a safety-first culture.
• Lead, coach and motivate a team on a rotating shift pattern, 7 days a week, 364 days a year.
• Develop labour plans for drivers and ensure adherence to Drivers' Hours rules.
• Create reports to support KPIs and collaborate with workshops for servicing.
