Job summary

J Browne Construction in the UK is seeking a Transport Compliance Co-ordinator to ensure driver and vehicle compliance across the business. You will carry out compliance checks, maintain records, monitor status and support audits, while contributing to continuous improvements in accuracy and service delivery.

You will work with colleagues across the business, using Excel and Office tools to analyse data, manage databases and produce reliable compliance reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in an administrative, compliance, fleet, or operational support role.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, Pivot Tables, and XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP functions.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when managing data and records.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office applications and database management systems.
• The ability to work independently whilst building effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Experience within a transport, fleet management, or compliance environment (desirable).
• Knowledge of driver compliance requirements, fleet management practices, or regulatory standards (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Carry out compliance checks for company vehicle and grey fleet drivers.
• Maintain accurate records and databases, monitoring compliance status.
• Support reporting activities and assist with audits and inspections.
• Identify and address compliance issues and contribute to process improvements.
