Our 4,000+ workforce provide services to 4.9m people across Kent, Surrey, Sussex and North East Hampshire. We handle over 1 million calls to 999 and 1 million calls to NHS 111 every year.
To assist in the process of decommissioning vehicles, equipment, plant & vehicle parts that are no longer required by the Trust. This will be completed following the document “NHS Protect - Security considerations for ambulance decommissioning and disposal SA20C”. Items will be disposed of via Trust approved auction sites or scrap disposal through Trust approved methods, in agreement with the Fleet Commissioning Manager.
To assist in the ordering & processing of medical kit, fitting onto new vehicles. To also assist in the decommissioning of old vehicles and medical kit.

Please note that the salary range noted on the vacancy is in line with agenda for change (AFC) pay scales. All successful applicants would be placed automatically at the bottom of the banding, unless proven, relevant NHS or equivalent experience can be demonstrated.
