Stena Line seeks a Fleet Second Engineer to support our engine teams onboard across the Irish Sea vessels. The role involves maintaining machinery, following Chief Engineer directives, and contributing to safety and SMS procedures while developing hands-on expertise on board.
Responsibilities include carrying out maintenance, risk management, incident reporting, and active participation in the vessel’s emergency organisation within the Irish Sea Engineer department.
In this role, you will be a key support to our engine teams onboard while developing your skills and knowledge on our ferries. The role has no set location; you will have the opportunity to work on all of our Irish Sea vessels. As a Fleet Second Engineer, your tasks as an engineer are diverse and as such you will have the opportunity to use and develop your problem-solving skills in a wide range of scenarios.
