McCormick & Company, Incorporated seeks a proactive candidate to join our R&D Lab team on a full-time basis. You will assist in maintaining lab stock, preparing samples for sensory evaluation, and supporting quality systems to ensure products meet safety and regulatory standards.

The role involves working with SAP, data logging, audits, and collaborating with multiple departments to drive continuous flavour and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Further educated to HNC or equivalent in a science subject (preferably chemistry / biochemistry). Practical experience of Good Laboratory Practices.
• Degree in Food Science / Nutrition / Consumer Science would be advantageous.
• Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment working within Laboratory or Food Industry.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of SAP would be advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Compounding of seasonings samples and applying seasonings onto base per requests.
• Prepare and dispatch samples to customers globally meeting specific customs requirements.
• Maintain laboratory stock of raw materials and ensure shelf-life compliance.
• Be cross trained on a range of duties in the R&D Lab to cover daily activity.
• Manage calibration of scales and equipment to meet QMS and audit requirements.
• Maintain a clean and safe Laboratory environment in line with health & safety standards.
