Job summary

GRS Group in Hatfield is seeking a self-motivated LGV/HGV driver to join our fast-paced logistics team. You will deliver goods to customers while maintaining high safety and service standards.

The role requires a can-do attitude, a valid HGV Class 1 license, CPC card and Tachograph card, plus commitment to teamwork and reliability. 45 hours weekly with overtime, 23 days holiday, pension and full training.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 license with suitable experience.
• Driver CPC card required for professional driving.
• Tachograph card holders preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check vehicle safety and condition at start of day and log it accurately.
• Ensure the vehicle is loaded securely and within weight limits.
• Drive efficiently while complying with road laws.
• Represent the company professionally at customer premises.
• Complete reports and maintain documentation promptly.
• Support yard duties when not driving.
