Job summary

GRS Group in Langley, United Kingdom, seeks a self-motivated HGV driver to join a fast-paced, growth‑oriented team. You will operate LGV/HGV delivery vehicles, ensuring timely, safe, and professional service to customers while maintaining vehicle condition and compliance with safety standards.

The role includes on-site training, regular day hours, and opportunities for career development within a close-knit team.

Qualifications

HGV Class 1 licence held with some driving experience.
CPC Driver Card valid and up to date.
Tachograph card valid and ready for use.

Responsibilities

Check vehicle safety and condition at the start of each day and record findings.
Care for company assets and follow manufacturer guidance for long-term performance.
Ensure loads are securely restrained and weights comply with legal limits.
Drive efficiently while complying with road traffic laws.
Prioritise health and safety for self, the public and other road users.
Represent the company professionally at all times on the road and with customers.
Assist in yard duties when not driving or during breaks as required.
Complete reports and documentation accurately and on time for business management.
Contribute to the business's wellbeing and profitability wherever possible.
Uphold HR and Health & Safety duties to promote a safe, compliant workplace.
