Job summary

Zachary Daniels is recruiting an Operations Manager for its Trafford flagship store in Manchester. You will drive daily operations, ensure the store is ready to trade and lead the team to deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role emphasises planning, team deployment, visual presentation and commercial performance, with responsibilities across stock, performance monitoring and coaching.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail management position such as Operations Manager or Store Manager.
• Strong operational mindset with ability to plan, prioritise and coordinate daily store routines.
• Commercially aware with ability to analyse sales figures and KPIs to drive performance.
• Proven leadership, coaching and succession planning skills.
• Experience in fashion/retail sectors is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of daily flagship store operations from opening to close.
• Plan priorities, run morning briefings and set clear objectives for the team.
• Drive efficiency through rota planning, resource allocation and task management.
• Monitor live sales, KPIs and budgets, adjusting focus to maximise opportunities.
• Maintain stock, replenishment and back‑of‑house processes for availability.
• Lead, motivate and develop the team to sustain high performance.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by placing the right people at the right time.
• Address operational challenges quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Coach and support staff development and succession planning.
