Job summary

Manière De Voir is seeking an Assistant Manager for our flagship Oxford Street store. You’ll report to the Head of Global Retail & Wholesale and lead the team in delivering exceptional service, elevated product knowledge, and brand ambassadorial representation.

You will drive sales, manage people, and ensure best-in-class store standards, while staying ahead of trends and maintaining robust operational controls.

Qualifications

• 3 years’+ experience in retail management within a similar setting.
• Natural leadership skills, with proven experience of managing high performing, inspired teams.
• Challenging established thinking and championing new ideas to stakeholders in the business.
• Style conscious fashion enthusiast with exceptional knowledge of the industry.
• Proven track record in delivering a world class client experience.
• Strong work ethic and personal drive (Entrepreneurial mindset).
• Highly self-motivated with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Quality focused with an exceptional eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the front as a role model for standards, duties, and dress code, overseeing daily team performance and growth.
• Train and develop the team with engaging sessions on competitors, campaigns, trends, and services.
• Balance driving sales with delivering authentic, hospitality-based service.
• Use live performance data to identify opportunities and hit team KPIs.
• Develop product knowledge across collection fits, fabrics, trims and trends.
• Present new ideas to motivate the team and drive new business.
• Oversee stock management and payroll with P&L awareness to optimise efficiencies.
• Ensure health, safety and security compliance across store operations.
