Job summary

Royal Mail Group seeks an exceptional Fleet Workshop Manager to lead the Midlands Super Hub, a state-of-the-art 16-bay facility with a 24-hour operation, 60 staff and a £10 million budget. You will set standards for safety, compliance and engineering excellence across the network.

Reporting to the Area Fleet Maintenance Manager, you will shape culture, deliver performance, and drive change, leveraging extensive HGV maintenance leadership and stakeholder engagement across Fleet and Operations.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of large-scale HGV/trailer workshop operations.
• Experience in safety, quality and compliance.
• Strong budget and performance management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a safe, legally compliant workshop meeting regulatory standards.
• Deliver maintenance services across a 24-hour operation while maximizing vehicle availability.
• Manage a ~£10 million budget and ~60 colleagues.
• Drive continuous improvement and ISO 9001 implementation.
