Job summary

Bradgate Education Partnership at Ratby Primary School is seeking a SEN Learning Support Assistant to work 26.25 hours per week in a fixed-term role until 22 August 2027. The role involves supporting pupils in KS1/KS2, leading small groups and providing 1:1 support under the guidance of the class teacher.

The ideal candidate will have NVQ level 3 or equivalent, classroom experience, and strong literacy, numeracy and communication skills.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience in Teaching and Learning.
• Experience of working in a classroom environment.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills; excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in the classroom (KS1 or KS2) under the guidance of the class teacher.
• Lead small intervention groups and provide 1:1 support where required.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards of pupil welfare and learning.
