Job summary

Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. You will work across Medicine or Surgery with additional responsibility for Practice Development and will be supported by the Principal Pharmacists for Medicine and Surgery and Associate Chief Pharmacists for Clinical Services.

You will be expected to lead medicines optimisation, provide clinical leadership, support patient flow

Qualifications

• Significant experience working with multiple clinical teams and as a prescriber.
• Ability to train and supervise junior pharmacists, technicians and MDT members.
• Willingness to lead medicines optimisation and clinical services across departments.
