We are looking for a Financial Reporting Analyst to own fixed asset accounting, challenge postings, and drive accurate reporting across Finance. The role also covers ONS submissions and ongoing process improvements.

Qualifications

• Basic fixed asset accounting concepts and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ability to review capital expenditure versus operating expenditure with justification.
• Experience maintaining fixed asset records in a multi-site retail environment.

Responsabilités

• Own the fixed asset process from capitalisation to monthly reporting and balance sheet reconciliation.
• Review expenditure and apply judgement on Capex vs Opex with proper support.
• Maintain a high-quality fixed asset register with clear descriptions and records.
• Collaborate with Finance Business Partners to understand projects and postings.
• Prepare and submit accurate ONS surveys with robust data.
• Monitor work in progress and ensure assets are capitalised at the right time.
• Support month-end reporting and provide audit trails for internal/external audits.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and automate processes.
