Sovereign Network Group (SNG) is hiring a Fixed Asset Accountant for a permanent role from our office in Basingstoke with hybrid working arrangements. You will manage fixed asset records over £7bn in assets, support monthly management reporting and the preparation of statutory accounts, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and legislation.

The ideal candidate is a Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant with ACA/CIMA/ACCA (or equivalent) and experience handling large data volumes in

Qualifications

• Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant with ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent.
• Experience with large volumes of data in financial/fixed asset accounting.
• Housing sector experience is beneficial.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting processes and controls.

Responsabilités

• Accurate recording of housing fixed assets using fixed asset systems and recording policies.
• Provide SME input to improve business processes and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist in annual statutory accounts production and liaise with external auditors.
• Support depreciation, amortisation and asset disposals calculations and reporting.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, KPI data and process improvements.
• Coordinate monthly balance sheet reconciliations across the team.
