Qualifications

• Experience delivering excellent customer service in fast-paced environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage confidently with patients and provide personalised service.
• Understanding of food safety, hygiene and allergen awareness.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy under pressure.
• Basic IT skills and confidence using tablets/electronic systems.
• Flexible shifts, weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a five-star patient dining experience for patients, visitors and staff.
• Explain menus and ordering processes to patients.
• Accurately take orders using dining tablets and electronic systems.
• Support patients with menu selections while managing dietary requirements and allergies.
• Prepare, assemble and serve meals and beverages per standards and safety procedures.
• Deliver meals to patients at the correct time and temperature.
• Coordinate with ward/clinical teams for safe service delivery.
• Respond to patient requests and resolve concerns promptly.
