Job summary

RWG is seeking a semi-skilled fitter to carry out a range of gas turbine component fitting activities within the Aberdeen workshop. You will disassemble, assemble, test and inspect items such as pipes, manifolds, fuel filters, BOVs and gearboxes to support repair and overhaul projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in a workshop/manufacturing/engineering environment.
• Semi-skilled mechanical fitting experience is beneficial.
• Proactive and able to work independently.

• Health and safety awareness and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organise workload while complying with QHSE procedures.
• Disassemble, assemble, test and inspect gas turbine components (pipes, manifolds, filters, BOVs, starters, gearboxes, burners).
• Perform pressure and functional tests according to engineering requirements.
• Support wider strip and build activities in the workshop as needed.
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality and environmental performance.
