Job summary

Beason Recruitment Group is looking for a Fitter / Fabricator to join a busy production team in Rugby, handling fabrication and mechanical fitting of chassis-mounted frames and components from engineering drawings.

Typical hours are 08:00-16:30, Mon-Fri, 40-hour weeks, with a permanent, days-based role and life assurance of 3x annual salary within a growing engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Previous fitting and fabrication experience.
• Background within commercial vehicles, plant machinery, heavy engineering or similar.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Confident using hand tools and fabrication equipment.
• Good attention to detail and practical problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in vehicle body building, basic welding, forklift operation or overhead crane use would be useful, but isn't essential.

Are you an experienced Fitter Fabricator looking for a permanent days-based role with a growing engineering manufacturer?

We're recruiting for a Fitter / Fabricator to join a busy production team in Rugby, working on specialist commercial vehicle equipment. You'll be involved in both fabrication and mechanical fitting, building and assembling chassis-mounted frames, components and associated equipment from engineering drawings.
